Baolab is a fabless semiconductor company which designs and manufactures MEMS products using Baolab’s unique ‘Inside CMOS’ NanoEMS technology. (NanoEMS = Nano-scale Embedded Mechanical Systems). This unique patented technique enables the integration of one or more MEMS devices together with the analogue and digital control electronics on a single chip, using a standard CMOS fabrication process. Dramatic cost savings and size reductions are realized, compared with conventional MEMS production techniques. The initial product family is motion sensors for mobile phones and portable consumer products.
