MEMS & Sensors Industry Group (MSIG) is pleased to announce a new webinar series, Ask the Experts, where MSIG members can interact directly with industry experts to get answers and insight into technical MEMS and sensors issues.
The inaugural edition of this series will cover Technology Transfer, a topic on which MSIG has been leading a discussion for the past few years. The results of this ongoing discussion are captured in our Technology Transfer Guide Wiki, an open resource for companies in the MEMS and sensors industry to share best practices and ask questions.
Building on the momentum of our Wiki and related activities, such as the panel session on technology transfer at the June 2016 “Hilton Head” Workshop, this webinar will strive to explore areas that could use a little more light shed on them. You are invited to participate directly in this discussion by bringing your technology transfer questions to the experts on our panel (see below to submit your questions in advance). Your questions, and the answers they generate, will be used to enhance the information contained in the Tech Transfer Wiki and to keep the conversation going on this important topic.
Potential questions might include How do I know if my design is ready for production? How do I find the best fab for my product? What are some of the “rookie” mistakes made during the process—and how can I avoid them?
Join MSIG and the following experts to explore the answers to these and other practical questions:
· Allyson Hartzell, Consultant, Veryst Engineering
Expertise: Yield, Reliability, Failure Analysis
· Mary Ann Maher, CEO/President, SoftMEMS
Expertise: Simulation/Modeling of MEMS, Integrated Circuits, PackagIng and Fabrication Processes, Physical design verification, Process Design Kits and Technology information exchange
· Rob O’Reilly, Senior Sensor Technologist, Analog Devices
Expertise: MEMS Test and applications
· Eric Pabo, Business Development Manager, EV Group
Expertise: Aligned Wafer Bonding, Process Control
· Jason Tauscher, Director MEMS Development, MicroVision, Inc.
Expertise: Process Integration, Foundry Engagement, Design and Process Transfer
