Would you like access to University of California undergraduate and graduate students who have designed Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) using state-of-the-art modeling (L-Edit/MEMSPro) and layout software (IntelliSuite)? Students at UC Santa Cruz in EE115 (undergraduate) and EE215 (graduate) work in teams to design, layout and have fabricated a MEMS device using a standard multi-user MEMS process (PolyMUMPS) available through a foundry service (MEMSCAP). Industry sponsors can specify the device that will be fabricated and will have access to student presentations and term papers describing the design and layout. If you are interested in sponsoring a student design chip please contact Prof. Joel Kubby at jkubby@soe.ucsc.edu.
