MEMS Industry Group Profile
About the Association
MEMS Industry Group (MIG) is the trade association advancing MEMS across global markets.
Enables the exchange of non-proprietary information among members
Provides access to reliable industry data that furthers the development of technology
Promotes greater commercial development and use of MEMS and MEMS-enabled devices.
What We Do
As the “go-to” resource for globally linking the MEMS supply chain to strategic markets, MIG helps companies in and around the MEMS industry to make meaningful business connections. Device manufacturers, software designers, materials and equipment suppliers, foundry partners, market analysts, and OEMs/integrators all plug into the MIG network to form alliances that will move their businesses forward.
MIG shares the successes of its members. Through collaborative PR and marketing programs, MIG promotes the capabilities of MEMS to our members’ customers. MIG members can also take advantage of primary, unique research and industry data—both online and at MIG events. Because MIG serves as the voice of the commercial MEMS community, our members play an influential role in shaping and driving the future direction of MEMS technology.
MIG membership also features a number of exclusive benefits:
Speaking opportunities at influential industry events such as CES 2012, Embedded Systems Conference, Globalpress Electronics Summit, Hannover Fair, Sensors Expo SEMICON West, and TechConnect World
Members-only Resource Library that includes research conducted for MIG’s annual technical meeting (M2M Forum), presentations from MIG and partner events, white papers, webinar replays, and more
Discounts on analyst data, conferences, exhibitions and publications
Collaborative volunteer working groups
Joint PR activities
Webinars on both technical and business topics relevant to the MEMS industry
MIG also offers the following exciting programs and events:
M2M: Member-to-Member Forum (www.memsindustrygroup.org/m2m) - M2M Forum, MIG’s annual members-only technical meeting slated for May 2012, will focus on the manufacturing challenges to MEMS’ commercialization. Leveraging intelligence gathered from industry experts and veterans, MIG will provide members an insider’s view of MEMS device manufacturing. Programs and events leading up to M2M Forum will examine commercialization at different volumes. MIG will use research, case studies, white papers and webinars to explore what makes (or doesn’t make) a successful transfer process. M2M Forum will culminate with next steps and recommendations for MIG and the MEMS industry.
MEMS Executive Congress (www.memscongress.com) is THE annual conference and networking event of the MEMS industry. It is a unique professional forum at which executives from companies designing and manufacturing MEMS technology sit side-by-side with their end-user customers in panel discussions and networking events to exchange ideas and information about the use of MEMS in commercial applications.
MEMS Education Series (www.memseducationseries.com) is a series of technical and business webinars on topics that help companies in the MEMS supply chain to stay ahead of the game. Replays of the webinars are available on the MIG web site.
