MIG Welcomes New Member ARRI

MIG would like to welcome its newest member, the Automation & Robotics Research Institute (www.arri.uta.edu).

ARRI is an offshoot of the University of Texas at Arlington's College of Engineering.

Their mission is to stimulate economic growth through a combination of leading edge research and comprehensive manufacturing extension services.

A team of around one hundred faculty, full time staff and graduate students work side by side in an interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial environment with close ties to industry.

ARRI's research is focused on the design and manufacturing of smart micromachines and their application to real world challenges in defense, medicine, and humanoid robots.
