First Best Known Practices White paper Released; More to Come

The first white paper in MIG’s Best Known Practice (BKP) Series has been released and is available under the Public Resources section of the MIG website (www.memsindustrygroup.org/bestknownpractices). This white paper is entitled "Wafer Bonding Process Selection" and was written by Eric F. Pabo, PE, and Dr. Viorel Dragoi of EV Group. The document was reviewed by Matthieu Liger of the Bosch Research Center.

This document follows EV Group’s process of selecting a wafer-to-wafer bonding process that meets product end requirements at the most reasonable cost of ownership (COO).

The goal of the BKP project is not to create a set of standards for the MEMS industry, but to share information that could benefit the industry as a whole. Members that would like to showcase their own approach on this topic or on another topic are encouraged to author a BKP white paper. For more information, please contact Monica Takacs.
