January 7-10, 2014 | Las Vegas Convention Center | Las Vegas, NV
With nearly 100,000 visitors, over 7,000 media and analysts, and a frenetic MEMS Tech Zone, 2013 International CES® was a solid success. MIG and several MIG members were there to take advantage of the exposure.
MEMS were so hot at 2013 CES, we are planning now for 2014! Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of 2014 CES. We are building an even more in-depth presence for 2014, with a larger space, consumer-driven discussion panels and keynote, and the MIG hospitality you’re accustomed to. The 2013 MEMS TechZone featured:
Press coverage was high quality and diverse. CES was one of the most positive receptions ever for MEMS technology at an application- driven event. Additional coverage on Logic Lounge, Fox Business, Bosch Media, and BBC News greatly expanded our reach. MIG Executive Director Karen Lightman’s interview with Logic Lounge is not to be missed! You won’t find a better advocate for MEMS and MIG members than here. All part of MIG membership.
This year, MIG staff sought and found MEMS technology in many diverse applications on the show floor. In some cases, MEMS were featured, and in some they were reliably performing behind-the-scenes like the workhorses we know them to be. MIG members featured demos with some of the latest innovations in MEMS where we were thrilled to promote such technology as the 3D body sensors from Xsens and the new low power accelerometer from Kionix, both of which got great media coverage. MEMS are truly everywhere!
You don’t have to take our word for it. MIG members had a great showing and made some great contacts.
Participating in the MIG-sponsored MEMS Tech Zone at CES continues to be a cost effective and efficient method for WiSpry to generate leads, build our brand recognition and promote (RF-) MEMS in general. Great opportunity with great support!
It wasn’t just hard work – we had a great time getting to know each other and our members. Our TechZone After-Hours happy hour (just for our co-exhibitors), and our comfy lounge provided ample opportunity for quiet chats, networking, or just relaxing with all the great personalities in the MEMS industry.
